Help Us Grow Team Outfitters in Dresden

Team Outfitters is looking for an outgoing, organized and community-minded person to lead our Dresden retail store and help us build new relationships throughout the local market.

This is more than a traditional retail position. As our Store & Community Lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day store experience while also connecting with local businesses, schools, sports teams, community organizations and event organizers.

You’ll become a familiar face for Team Outfitters in Dresden and the surrounding area—helping customers in the store, building relationships in the community and uncovering new opportunities for custom apparel, uniforms, branded merchandise and online apparel stores.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Leading the Dresden Store

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Dresden retail location
• Create a friendly, welcoming and helpful customer experience
• Assist customers with apparel, merchandise and customization options
• Maintain attractive, organized and well-stocked displays
• Manage basic inventory, receiving and restocking
• Operate the point-of-sale system and complete daily store procedures
• Coordinate with Team Outfitters’ sales, production and design teams
• Help manage our in-store Swag Studio and basic heat-press customization
• Identify opportunities to improve store traffic, sales and customer experience
• Ensure the store consistently reflects the Team Outfitters brand

Building Local Relationships

• Introduce Team Outfitters to businesses, schools, teams and community organizations
• Develop relationships with local decision-makers and community leaders
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers
• Identify opportunities for staff apparel, uniforms, spirit wear, team merchandise and promotional products
• Help organizations launch or grow their Team-on-Demand online apparel stores
• Represent Team Outfitters at local events, networking opportunities and community activities
• Visit local organizations and businesses when appropriate
• Maintain an organized list of leads, conversations and follow-up opportunities
• Work with our internal sales team to turn opportunities into quotes and orders
• Look for creative ways to make Team Outfitters more visible and involved in the Dresden community

Experience That Would Be Helpful

Experience in any of the following would be an asset:

• Retail leadership or store operations
• Customer service
• Sales or business development
• Community outreach
• Hospitality or event coordination
• Apparel, sporting goods or promotional products
• Working with schools, sports organizations or local businesses

You do not need to come from the custom-apparel industry. We are more interested in finding someone with the right personality, work ethic and community mindset. Product and industry training will be provided.

Additional Requirements

• Comfortable using email, basic computer systems and point-of-sale technology
• Available to work within the store’s scheduled operating hours
• Willing to occasionally attend community or networking events
• Able to safely lift and move boxes of apparel and merchandise
• A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation would be an asset
